Christiania Shipping’s core business lays in its subsidiaries, Christiania Chemical, Christiania Gas and Christiania Energy. With a strong culture and team of people , Christiania Shipping operate and manage a fleet of more than 30 vessels.

Eitzen Avanti AS oversees a network that includes Christiania Shipping A/S at its core, which in turn branches out into specialized subsidiaries like Christiania Chemical A/S, Christiania Energy A/S, and Christiania Gas A/S.

1963

Herning Shipping is established by the Lysgaard family to supply their Uno-X gas stations franchise in Denmark

2000

Office established in Golfe Juan, France

2004

Fleet renewal program is initiated

2007

Herning Shipping partly sold to management, while founding family Lysgaard maintains a 29% stake

2007-2010

More than 45 vessels are controlled at its peak and WAF COA coverage is beginning to develop

2011

Triton acquires Herning Shipping

2014

Financial restructuring of Herning Shipping – Herning Shipping separated from Nordic Tankers and no longer considered as being affiliated companies

2015

Herning office closes and all DK based activities moves to Copenhagen – All Danish commercial and technical activities are outsourced to Nordic Tankers

2017

Herning Shipping manages 21 owned and chartered vessels

2018

ANE Shipping AS acquired Herning Shipping A/S (100%) Herning Shipping A/S renamed Christiania Shipping A/S and moved to new headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark. Streamline commercial, operation, administration

2019

Technical upgrading:
